Job Description

We are looking for a reliable, energetic and hands-on Retail Merchandiser to support Teemi’s growing offline retail network across Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.

This is a field-based role focused mainly on partner-store replenishment, visual merchandising, outlet visits, campaign/event setup and other external brand activities.

The role requires regular travelling between retail partner locations, the KL hub and event venues. A company vehicle will be provided for work-related travel.

Key Responsibilities

1.. Partner Store Merchandising & Restocking

• Visit assigned retail partner outlets according to the planned schedule.
• Monitor product availability and replenish stock at partner stores.
• Coordinate stock requirements and stock transfers with the Retail & Operations team.
• Ensure the correct product range, pricing materials, tags and promotional materials are displayed.
• Identify low-stock situations, missing products or merchandising issues and report them promptly.
• Maintain accurate and simple records of outlet visits, restocking and stock movement.
• Communicate with partner-store staff when necessary to ensure smooth replenishment and display maintenance.

2. Visual Merchadising

• Maintain Teemi’s product displays according to brand and visual merchandising standards.
• Ensure products are properly arranged, clean, complete and presentable.
• Ensure shelves and display areas are kept clean, tidy, well-organized and presentable at all times.
• Carry out seasonal, campaign and promotional display updates.
• Assist with new counter setup, display installation and merchandising changes.
• Replace or update POSM, signage, price tags and promotional materials when required.
• Take clear photos after merchandising visits for reporting and record purposes.
• Identify display issues and recommend improvements when necessary.

3. Campaigns, Events & External Brand Activities

• Support the preparation, setup and dismantling of back-to-school campaigns, roadshows, exhibitions, pop-ups, sharing sessions and other offline activities.
• Transport products, display materials, event equipment and stock between the KL hub and event locations.
• Assist with product arrangement and display presentation during campaigns or events.
• Support stock preparation, movement and reconciliation before and after events.
• Assist the team during external brand activities when required.
• Ensure event’s equipment and materials are properly handled, packed and returned after use.

4. Field Operations & Coordination

• Drive the company vehicle for partner-store visits, replenishment, deliveries and event activities.
• Plan daily routes efficiently according to outlet priorities and operational requirements.
• Communicate regularly with HQ regarding stock requirements, outlet conditions and merchandising matters.
• Ensure company stock, equipment and vehicle are handled responsibly.
• Complete basic reporting and operational updates using WhatsApp, Google Forms, Excel or other assigned systems.
• Perform other relevant merchandising, retail-partner or field-support duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Previous experience in merchandising, retail operations, stock replenishment or event support is an advantage.
• Possess a valid Malaysian driving licence.
• Comfortable driving regularly around Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
• Comfortable with physical work including carrying stock, moving cartons and setting up displays.
• Able to communicate in English and BM.
• Basic competency in WhatsApp, Google Workspace and Excel.
• Responsible, punctual and able to work independently outside the office.
• Good time management and ability to follow scheduled outlet visits.
• Able to respond appropriately to changing field and operational requirements.
• Willing to support events, including selected weekends or public holidays when required.

Working Arrangement

• Based in Kuala Lumpur/Selangor.
• Role involves frequent travelling across Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
