Teemi is a fast-growing Malaysian brand dedicated to improving children’s well-being through innovative ergonomic school bags. Our mission is to make school life easier and more comfortable for children while supporting families with thoughtful product design and meaningful community engagement.

Today, more than 100,000 parents have trusted Teemi to solve the issue of heavy school bags for their children. As we expand our presence in both online and offline retail, we are looking for a passionate individual to help bring our brand closer to families through events, activations, and community engagement.

Position Overview 

We are looking for someone to own and grow Teemi’s offline presence.

This role is not just about organizing events.
You will be responsible for:

• Bringing Teemi into schools, tuition centers, and communities 
• Creating partnership-driven growth channels 
• Executing high-impact brand activations

RESPONSIBILITY:

1. Brand Activation Strategy & Execution

• Plan and execute monthly & quarterly activation roadmap 
• Lead events such as: 
• School programs 
• Mall roadshows 
• Retail activations 
• Parenting workshops 
• Ensure every event delivers real business impact (traffic, leads, sales)

2. Business Development & Partnerships

• Identify and secure collaborations with: 
• Schools, kindergartens, tuition centers 
• Parent communities 
• Family-related brands and organizations 
• Pitch and close partnership opportunities: 
• Talks, workshops, sponsorships, co-branded events 
• Build long-term partner relationships, not one-off deals

3. Lead Generation & Community Growth

• Design and execute lead capture strategies during events 
• Build and grow Teemi’s parent community database 
• Ensure every activation contributes to long-term brand engagement

4. Retail Activation & Expansion Support

• Support Teemi’s offline retail growth (Parkson & partners) 
• Plan in-store events and traffic-driving activities 
• Coordinate store launches and seasonal campaigns

5. Vendor & Budget Ownership

• Manage vendors, quotations, and event budgets 
• Optimize cost vs impact for every activation 
• Ensure smooth execution from planning to on-ground operations

Job Requirements

Requirements

• 3–5 years experience in event marketing, brand activation, or partnerships 
• Proven ability to execute events independently 
• Experience dealing with vendors, venues, and on-ground logistics 
• Strong communication and coordination skills 
• Comfortable working on weekends and on-ground during events 
• Self-driven, proactive, and able to take ownership
• Able to communicate effectively in both Mandarin and English (written and spoken)

Bonus If You Have

• Experience working with schools or education sector 
• Background in retail or consumer brand activations 
• Ability to pitch and close collaboration deals
