Job Description
Role Purpose
Handle day to day accounting function and monthly closing activities, which includes, but not limited to, general ledger accountability, financial reporting, as well as financial information analysis and other ad hoc projects assigned.
Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily sales collection reconciliation.
- Responsible for preparing journal entries to support month-end and year-end closing.
- Responsible for preparing service tax and withholding tax submission.
- Responsible for preparing monthly/annual sales statement to Landlords.
- Responsible for preparing monthly account schedules/Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
- Assist month-end financial statements analysis.
- Assist year-end audit and tax queries.
- Perform all other duties/projects assigned as required
General
- To adhere and enforce all Company’s policies and procedures.
- Undertake/participate in any ad hoc projects or other relevant duties as assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, in finance and accounting field.
- At least 1-2 years working experience in Accounting.
- Candidate with basic service tax/withholding tax knowledge is encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English.
- Candidate must possess own transport with valid driving license. Able to travel to store when required.
