Job Description

Role Purpose

  • Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service.
  • Maintaining outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
  • Assist with the sales process by maintaining a fully stocked store.

Main Accountabilities

  • Perform proper stock management by maintaining a fully stocked store and store condition by following visual merchandising standards.
  • Perform proper greetings and attend customers’ needs by recommending items that match their needs.
  • Perform further services to customer at Fresh Market (Meat & Seafood Department) by cutting fish, poultry and meat.
  • Keep up to date with product information, features and benefits.
  • Responsible to follow up with Department Superiors on orders in regular basis.
  • Close working relationship with Receiving Department and involved in receiving goods by checking freshness, quality of product and expiry dates (all Fresh Market Departments).
  • Perform stock count on weekly, monthly and yearly basis.
  • Responsible to abide safety operation rules & regulation in store.
  • Perform housekeeping, ensure cleanliness and health & safety measurement in storeroom and selling floor.

General

  • To adhere and enforce all Company’s policies and procedures.
  • Undertake participate in any ad hoc projects or other relevant duties as assigned from time to time.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Candidate must possess at least SPM qualification.
  • Minimum 1-2 year(s) of working experience in related field.
  • Attention to details and sense of urgency.
  • Computer literate, able to perform accurate data entry.
  • Able to work under pressure with minimum supervision.
  • Familiar with imported items will be added advantage.
  • Willing to work in Klang Valley and/or Johor Bahru area.
