Job Description

TGFX Agency is looking for a highly organised and client-focused Social Media Account Manager to join our Kuala Lumpur team. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing social media campaigns, coordinating content production, and ensuring successful delivery of marketing initiatives across various platforms.

As the primary point of contact for clients, you will work closely with our creative, content, advertising, and production teams to execute social media strategies that help brands grow their online presence and achieve their business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of social media clients across various industries.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between clients and the agency.
  • Develop and manage monthly content calendars and campaign schedules.
  • Coordinate with designers, content creators, photographers, videographers, and ad specialists to ensure timely delivery of content.
  • Prepare content briefs, campaign reports, meeting notes, and presentations.
  • Review content before publishing to ensure accuracy, brand consistency, and quality.
  • Monitor social media performance and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Lead client meetings, presentations, and strategy discussions.
  • Manage project timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Handle client enquiries, feedback, and requests in a professional and timely manner.
  • Identify opportunities to grow client accounts through additional services and campaigns.
  • Stay updated with the latest social media trends, platform updates, and digital marketing best practices.

Job Requirements

Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in social media account management, client servicing, or digital marketing.
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Red Book, and other social media platforms.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong project management and organisational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Docs, Slide, Sheets)

Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in a social media, marketing, or creative agency.
  • Understanding of Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, influencer marketing, and content marketing.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics and reporting tools.
  • Experience using project management software such as Trello (Bonus)
  • Basic understanding of content creation, graphic design, and video production processes.
