Job Description

Cost Estimation and Budgeting:

Responsible for cost estimation, budget preparation, and control in the early stages of the project.

Quantity Surveying and Bill of Quantities (BQ):

Prepare and review the Bill of Quantities (BQ).

Bidding and Tendering Management:

Responsible for or assisting in bidding, bid evaluation, and contract negotiation.

Cost Control and Reporting:

Monitor costs during project execution, provide regular cost reports, and identify and mitigate financial risks.

Contract Management:

Handle contract changes and claims, and conduct final settlement.

Job Requirements

Education Background:

Typically, a bachelor's degree or above in quantity surveying, civil engineering, construction cost, or a related field is required.

Work Experience:

Required years of relevant work experience will be clearly stated. For positions open to recent graduates, it will be specifically noted that "recent graduates are welcome."

Professional Skills:

Familiarity with cost estimation, business quantity surveying (BQ) preparation, and tendering processes.

Certifications:

Holding certifications from RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or CIOB (Institution of Chartered Building Engineers) is a significant advantage.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills.
