Job Description

Reporting to the Regional Head of Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Business Partner delivers value to the business through providing recruitment professional knowledge and services to attract and engage talent across multiple talent sectors across the business. The role holder operates independently, and under the support of the Regional Head of Talent Acquisition, and able to influence senior managers with guidance on complex issues. The role requires close working relationships with the managers and leaders to identify talent acquisition needs from their strategy and BAU forecasts and build proactive recruiting plans to address these. They will also work with and support the business to identify the talent required for today and the future business needs ultimately creating a competitive advantage for Cigna in the talent marketplace.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides recruitment consultation services and supports Talent Acquisition assignments/projects.

  • Consult with senior managers and partners with HRBPs on critical talent gaps and drive an effective and efficient talent acquisition strategy in support of the business.

  • Working in partnership with HRBPs and Business to develop workforce plans that inform recruitment strategy and deliverables.

  • Works with the Talent Acquisition team to create and manage sourcing channels to build up talent pools and find potential candidates (e.g., face-to-face events, online channels, head hunting, networking events etc.).

  • Refining requisitions and writing and publicizing adverts and marketing campaigns online through job boards and social media sites.

  • Source, screen and interview applicants to ensure quality candidates are provided through to managers.

  • Present ongoing requisition updates both written and verbally to HRBPs, Finance and Business leaders.

  • Works autonomously but is supported by the Talent Acquisition Consultants and HR teams as necessary. Exercises judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of both standard and complex techniques and procedures.

  • Ensure candidates are actively engaged throughout the process and through the onboarding process.

  • Leading the negotiation with the candidate and liaising with internal stakeholders (e.g., HR, Finance, Compensation) as and when required.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Has experience in recruitment or talent acquisition teams in delivering individual and large scale recruitment services. Working towards a degree level would be preferable.

  • Knowledge of how to develop recruitment strategy for junior through to senior positions.

  • Knowledge of job boards, online CV databases, Applicant Tracking Systems and working with recruitment agencies.

  • Has an understanding of assessment tools such as competency-based interviews, online assessments and assessment centres.

  • Knowledge of labor legislation as it relates to talent acquisition and onboarding practices.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Strong decision-making skills.

  • Ability to build and leverage internal relationships.

  • Knowledge and understanding of all relevant markets and ability to translate the trends and insights into clear talent acquisition strategies.
