Event Management Intern

Project Planning & Operations

• Assist in planning and executing events from initial concept to completion.
• Support the preparation of event proposals, timelines, schedules, checklists and project documentation.
• Conduct venue, supplier and vendor research, including obtaining quotations and coordinating arrangements.
• Assist with event logistics, manpower, equipment, materials and on-site requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, event crew and internal team members to ensure smooth project execution.
• Support event setup, on-site operations, troubleshooting and dismantling.
• Assist with administrative tasks, project updates and post-event reporting.
• Perform other project-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Social Media Marketing Intern

• Assist in planning and managing social media content across the company’s digital platforms.
• Develop content calendars, captions, campaign ideas and other marketing materials.
• Create simple graphics, short-form videos and engaging social media content.
• Capture photos, videos and behind-the-scenes content during events and company activities.
• Schedule posts and ensure content is published accurately and on time.
• Monitor social media trends, competitor activities and relevant industry developments.
• Assist in responding to comments, messages and online enquiries when required.
• Track content performance and prepare basic social media reports.
• Support branding, digital marketing and promotional campaigns.
• Perform other marketing-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirements

General Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration or a related field.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Responsible, proactive, organised and attentive to detail.
• Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
• Willing to learn, accept feedback and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Willing to travel to event venues and work outside regular office hours when required.

Event Management Intern

• Strong interest in event planning, coordination and on-site operations.
• Good time management, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to remain calm and respond effectively to changes during events.
• Willing to assist with event setup, execution and dismantling.

Social Media Marketing Intern

• Familiar with major social media platforms and current content trends.
• Basic knowledge of content creation or editing tools such as Canva, CapCut or Adobe applications.
• Creative mindset with good writing and visual communication skills.
• Photography, videography or video-editing skills are an advantage.
• A portfolio or samples of previous creative work would be an added advantage.
