About The Little Gym 

The Little Gym delivers premier, non-competitive physical development and gymnastics programs for young children. We are looking for a high-energy instructional leader to champion class quality, staff training and curriculum excellence. 

The Opportunity 

You will undergo a 6 to 9-month intensive training program focused on mastering our proprietary franchise curriculum, safety protocols, and instructor development systems before taking full ownership of the gym's educational programs. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Instructional Leadership: Deliver Gold-standard classes, spending ~60% of working hours teaching on the gym floor and engaging families in the lobby. Model best practices and set the standard for all instructors. 
• Curriculum & Quality Control: Own the delivery of all franchise programs, conduct regular class evaluations, and ensure 100% adherence to safety and brand standards. Champion a customer-centric approach, prioritizing member satisfaction and retention. 
• Team Development & Training: Manage staff training programs (Bronze, Silver, Gold levels), execute training plans, and continuously mentor gym instructors. 
• Operations Partnership: Work directly with the Gym Director to monitor membership conversion, retention rates, and member survey feedback. Use insights from quality data to improve the member journey from first IV to ongoing classes. 
• Reporting: Co-lead monthly and quarterly operational performance reviews with gym leadership, with a specific focus on class evaluations, training completion status, and member feedback. Ensure all important directions from the Gym Leader are cascaded effectively to the team. 

Job Requirements

Requirements 

• Experience: 3–5 years of professional experience, ideally in education, coaching, sports management, gymnastics, dance, martial arts, or children's program coordination. 
• Pedagogical Knowledge: A deep understanding of child development and age-appropriate instruction. Experience teaching or coaching children is highly desirable. 
• Quality Focus: An eye for detail and a relentless commitment to service excellence and brand standards. 
• Mentorship Skills: Proven ability to train, coach, and develop other instructors or staff members. 
• Collaborative Spirit: Able to partner effectively with the Gym Director to balance commercial goals with program quality. 
• Availability: Willing to work weekends and commit to a 6–9 month intensive training track before fully assuming the Director role.
