Moving Image is looking for a creative and hands-on Video Editing Intern to join our Social Media & Influencer Content team. This role is perfect for someone who loves TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts and knows how to make content pop using apps like CapCut, VN, or InShot.

In this position, you will assist in shooting and editing short-form videos for influencer campaigns and branded social media content.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in shooting influencer and social media videos (lifestyle, product, behind-the-scenes, day-in-the-life, etc.)

- Edit videos in CapCut or similar mobile-friendly editing tools

- Apply trendy transitions, music, text overlays, and effects that align with current social media trends

- Work with the content and influencer team to bring creative ideas to life

- Support with quick turnaround editing for campaigns and brand deadlines

- Stay up to date with TikTok and Reels trends and styles

Job Requirements

• Skilled in mobile editing applications such as CapCut, VN, InShot, or comparable tools
• Excellent understanding of timing, rhythm, and visual narrative
• Familiar with basic shooting techniques using a phone or camera (including framing, lighting, and sound)
• Enthusiastic about social media, influencers, and content production
• Collaborative team member who thrives under pressure and can meet deadlines
• Able to communicate effectively in both Malay and English
  
• Bonus: Interest in on-camera appearances or developing ideas for viral content, as well as experience with Adobe Premiere Pro
