Job Description
🚀 The Opportunity
Are you a master of structural safety and site operations?
We are looking for a highly skilled Scaffolding Supervisor to lead our scaffolding operations, ensure strict safety compliance, and guide our site teams. In this role, you won't just be overseeing erection and dismantling—you will be heavily involved in technical design, project planning with engineers, and managing departmental budgets.
If you have a sharp eye for safety, strong leadership skills, and the technical know-how to design secure structures, we want you to lead our team!
🔥 Your Mission (Core Responsibilities)
As the technical and operational leader for our scaffolding projects, your day-to-day will involve:
- Safety & Quality Control (Inspection): Conduct thorough inspections of all scaffolding structures before, during, and after erection. You will check for proper installation, bracing, and stability, ensuring all components strictly meet industry standards and safety specifications.
- Technical Design & Sketching: Take the lead on designing scaffolding structures. You will draft technical sketches, calculate weight limitations, determine the correct scaffolding types, and map out fall protection systems.
- Project Planning & Strategy: Collaborate closely with Project Managers and Engineers to understand the unique scaffold requirements for specific projects, developing plans that align with both project specs and safety regulations.
- Team Leadership & Training: Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement. You will provide hands-on training to scaffold builders, keeping them updated on new techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Resource & Budget Management: Assist management in controlling the budget for scaffold-related activities, including smart equipment purchases, training programs, and safety measures.
- Compliance Documentation: Maintain highly accurate records of scaffold designs, daily inspections, and structural modifications. Prepare detailed reports on scaffold activities and immediately address any compliance issues.
