Job Description

 

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities for freight forwarding and logistics services. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, shippers, and business partners. 
  • Promote air freight, sea freight, land transportation, warehousing, and customs clearance services. 
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and service presentations for clients. 
  • Follow up on sales leads, inquiries, and customer requirements promptly. 
  • Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth shipment handling. 
  • Negotiate rates and service agreements with customers. 
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback. 
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by the company. 
  • Maintain accurate sales records and prepare sales reports.

Job Requirements

 

  • Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. 
  • Minimum 1–3 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation industry. 
  • Fresh graduates with strong interest in logistics sales may also be considered. 
  • Knowledge of international shipping procedures, Incoterms, and customs regulations is an advantage. 
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel for client visits. 
  • Good communication and negotiation skills. 
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. 
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; additional languages are an advantage.
