Stage 1: We Invest in You - Paid Training Period (First 6 Months)

Think of this as a fully-paid scholarship to become a world-class teacher. We cover your learning, you just need to bring your passion and commitment.

• Guaranteed Monthly Salary: RM 3,800
• (RM 3,500 Base + RM 300 Transport Allowance)

Stage 2: Unleash Your Earning Power - Confirmed Global Teacher (After 6 Months)

After your training, your income is in your hands. More classes and better performance mean significantly higher earnings.

• Typical Monthly Income: RM 4,500 - RM 7,000+
• Simple & Powerful Earning Model:
• You earn RM 700 - RM 1,000 per month FOR EACH weekly class you teach. This is a combination of your teaching rate and performance commission.
• Example: If you take 6 classes per week, 2 hrs per class for 4 weeks in a month, your income will be RM70 x 6 x 2 x 4 x 1.3 = RM 4368 per month
• High Hourly Rate: Your effective teaching rate scales from RM 70 to RM 200 per hour as you grow.
• Rapid Reviews: Up to 2-3 salary and performance reviews annually to accelerate your income growth.

• Take on More, Earn More: You can apply to take on additional responsibilities (e.g., mentoring new teachers, curriculum development, operational support) alongside your teaching.
• Earn an Additional Fixed Income: This "secondment" track provides an extra monthly allowance of up to RM 3,000, on top of your teaching income (Teaching role + Second Position). This means your total potential income can be substantially higher. E.g. If your teaching rate adds up to RM4,500, and you have a second role as well, you monthly salary will be RM4,500 + RM3,000 per month

Your Journey With Us: From Trainee to Global Educator

This role is designed for ambitious individuals who are passionate about education, even if you have no prior teaching experience.

• First 6 Months (On-site Training): You will undergo a world-class, comprehensive paid training program at our state-of-the-art facility in Petaling Jaya. We will equip you with our specialized curriculum, advanced teaching platform, and proven pedagogical methods. The goal of this stage is to make sure that you are able to take up 6 long term classes.
• After 6 Months (Hybrid & Growth): Upon successful completion of your training, you will transition to a hybrid work model, delivering engaging online lessons to international students. Your core objective will be to provide high-quality teaching and support services while balancing home-based and office-based work. Top performers will have limitless opportunities for professional growth into leadership or operational management pathways.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Deliver dynamic and engaging online math lessons for up to 20 students per class using our cutting-edge teaching platform.
• Master and effectively deliver Think Academy’s proven curriculum.
• Foster a positive, interactive, and inclusive virtual classroom environment.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to students and parents to support their academic journey.
• Evaluate student assignments and provide necessary academic support.
• Participate in other teaching-related tasks, such as student diagnostic assessments.

Job Requirements

Must-Have Requirements (Non-negotiable):

• Education: A Bachelor's or Master's or Phd's degree in any field.
• English Proficiency: An excellent command of English (spoken and written) with a clear, neutral accent suitable for teaching international students.
• Math Foundation: Minimum B or above in SPM Mathematics.
• Passion: A genuine enthusiasm for education and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Commitment: Able to commit to a full-time, on-site training schedule for the initial 6 months in Petaling Jaya.

Bonus Points (Good to Have):

• Ideal for recent graduates (Class of 2018 onwards), but all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply
• Background in math competitions or tutoring is an advantage, but not required.
