As the backbone of our operations you will make sure machines keep running by planning and carrying out preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing faults, and coordinating external contractors when needed. You will keep machine status updated to the relevant HOD and sign off service reports so the production team has accurate visibility. You will also source spare parts, organise tools and the maintenance area for quick retrieval, and look for realistic ways to reduce external technician costs while maintaining quality and safety.

Your Growth & Impact

• Build practical mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills through daily repairs, preventive checks, and hands-on commissioning of plant equipment.
• Develop project experience by managing small maintenance jobs, coordinating contractors, and completing clear service reports that show measurable results.
• Lead cost-control efforts by identifying repair alternatives, sourcing parts efficiently, and reducing dependence on external technicians.
• Expand your operational influence by working directly with HODs to prioritise machine work, improve uptime, and streamline maintenance schedules.

Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Able to read, write & communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Willing to learn extra, work hard and willing to work over time
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently with minimum supervision.
• Knowledge about mechanical and electrical
• Attention to detail, technical skills, and ability to work under pressure
• Able to perform work through supervision or coordination with contractors or subordinate

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• SPM and above
• 1-2 years working experience preferred, otherwise trainable
