About the role

TIAN AN TRADING SDN BHD is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accounting Executive (FMCG) to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position based in Subang Jaya, Selangor, where you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of our fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) in food related business.

Responsibilities:-

• Manage the full accounting cycle, day-to-day finance & accounting operations. 
• Ensuring timely reconciliation and accounting schedules are updated and accurate. 
• Handle and submission of full sets account on timely basis. 
• Performing fiscal year-end closing activities and assisting with activities and requirements of external auditors.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial systems and controls
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies
• Liaise with external stakeholder including company secretary, bankers and other statutory organizations.
• Continually seeking and implementing opportunities to streamline and improve finance and accounting operations. 
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting
• To perform any other duties as assigned by management to meet organizational requirements.

Job Requirements

Requirements:-

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in financial accounting and reporting, preferably in trading related industry. 
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or relevant field required. 
• Excellent understanding of financial accounting principles, taxation, and regulatory requirements
• Proficient in using financial reporting software (AutoCount) and data analysis tools
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Hands-on experience in financial system implementation and process improvement
