MED (Merchant Ecosystem Development), are a team of 60 TikTok Shop frontliners who primarily handle various aspects of the Seller journey. This includes merchant Acquisition, Incubation, Education, Engagement, and also TikTok Shop Partners & Vendors (TSP) management. We work closely with Sellers and Merchants to help them onboard smoothly and improve their performance, then graduate to higher tiers within TTS. Our team also handles external speaking, training and engagement events, and works with the Government and other related corporations on all related partnerships, in order to build solid grassroot foundations for the local community, and maintain a healthy revenue inflow for our MY operations. In this role, you will be responsible in developing strategies for the growth of providers and continuously refine methodologies to optimise operational mechanisms. Role & Responsibility: - Responsible for the operation of top-tier service providers on the platform, including but not limited to developing strategies for provider growth, transitions, and GMV increase. Continuously refine methodologies and optimize operational mechanisms - Provide ongoing support and training for TSPs. Analyze TSP structures and operational efficiency, offering reasonable recommendations based on business development plans. Organize and implement skill training and empowerment initiatives to enhance TSP performance - Have a thorough understanding of the current state of the Malaysian e-commerce market and insights into its landscape. Drive the implementation of overall strategic plans by integrating and coordinating internal and external resources - Engage in initiatives to cultivate the local TSP ecosystem, including but not limited to organizing TSP seminars


Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree or higher, with over 2 years of experience, particularly in e-commerce, specifically in service providers, ToB enterprise services, or merchant operations - Strong business development capabilities, proficient in business negotiations, and able to independently achieve and promote external collaborations - Rich experience in Brand one-stop operation, including but not limited to store management, LIVE, short videos, advertising, etc., can help TSP with brand services Preferred Qualifications - Possess data-driven thinking, capable of guiding operations through data analysis in areas such as industry trends, performance evaluation, and project execution - Rich experience in project management and cross-departmental collaboration, along with a good spirit of teamwork TikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
