Job Description

Responsibilities

• Inspect newly arrived electrical tools and equipment for each work team at the project site and prepare inspection reports. 
• Conduct daily maintenance, inspection, and safety checks on electrical systems and equipment such as distribution boards, lighting systems, and generators to ensure safety compliance. 
• Be familiar with certificates, reports, and documentation required for inspection and approval of electrical equipment. 
• Assist the Safety Officer in inspecting, labeling, and approving electrical equipment entering the site, and issue relevant inspection reports. 
• Conduct safety and technical briefings for workers prior to any live electrical work to ensure safe execution of site activities. 
• Assist the project team in completing other electrical-related tasks as assigned. 
• Understand and manage temporary electrical systems on site, including inspection and maintenance of electrical equipment.

Job Requirements

Requirements

• Possess a valid A4 Chargeman certificate from Suruhanjaya Tenaga. 
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience, capable of handling routine electrical tasks and issues independently. 
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, with strong communication and writing skills in a multilingual working environment. 
• Patient, meticulous, and responsible working attitude, able to follow instructions from management effectively and work well within a team.
