Job Description

• Responsible for coordination, supervision, and technical support of data centre electrical systems, including HV/LV distribution, UPS, generator, ATS, grounding, and lighting systems.
• Prepare material take-offs and cost estimates to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
• Supervise and manage site electrical teams to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and HVAC teams to ensure smooth system integration and handover.
• Review electrical drawings, participate in design optimization, and provide technical recommendations.
• Assist in resolving technical issues during installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Ensure all electrical works comply with Suruhanjaya Tenaga regulations and local electrical safety standards.
• Prepare technical reports, test documentation, and project handover records.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Registration with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) as a Graduate Engineer or above is preferred.
• Familiar with MV/LV distribution, UPS, generator, ATS and backup power systems.
• Experience in data centre, industrial or large-scale M&E projects is an advantage.
• Proficient in reading and preparing electrical drawings and technical documentation.
• Familiar with Malaysian electrical and safety regulations.
• Possess a valid CIDB Green Card.
• Suruhanjaya Tenaga electrical competency license (e.g., Chargeman / A4) is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; training and mentorship will be provided.
• Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin for communication.
