Role Summary
We’re hiring a Motion Designer who can produce high-impact animated content across multiple client accounts, products, and campaigns. You’ll turn strategy into motion-first storytelling for social platforms, paid ads, product launches, and brand activations—delivering fast, polished work while managing several briefs at once. 🎯
What You’ll Be Doing
- Create social-first motion for Reels, Stories, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, paid ads, hero videos, and campaign assets. 📱🎞️
- Handle multiple client accounts and adapt visual languages to match each brand’s identity. 🔁🧩
- End-to-end production from concept and storyboards to animatic, animation, and final export. ✏️➡️🎥
- Collaborate cross-functionally with strategists, copywriters, designers, account managers, and editors to meet campaign goals. 🤝
- Iterate quickly on client feedback and performance data; deliver multiple versions and A/B creative when needed. 🔄📈
- Ensure technical delivery: correct aspect ratios, codecs, frame rates, and platform specs for upload-ready files. 🛠️✅
- Build reusable templates and asset libraries to speed production and maintain consistency. 📂✨
- Spot trends and propose experiments to improve engagement and creative performance. 🔍🚀
Job Requirements
Required Experience and Skills
- 3+ years professional motion design experience, preferably in an agency or fast-paced studio. 🕒
- Strong portfolio / showreel showcasing social-first motion, short-form storytelling, and campaign work. 🎥
- After Effects expert; strong skills in Cinema 4D or Blender for 3D work. 🖥️
- Editing proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve. ✂️
- Excellent timing and pacing for short-form content and attention-grabbing openers. ⏱️
- Project management skills to juggle multiple briefs and deadlines independently. 📋
- Clear communicator for presenting concepts and incorporating client feedback. 🗣️
- Organized file management and version control for creative assets. 🗂️
Technical Tools and Competencies
- Motion: After Effects (advanced); Cinema 4D or Blender (Beginner/intermediate).
- Editing: Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- Design: Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma for asset prep.
- Delivery: Knowledge of H.264/H.265, aspect ratios, and social platform specs.
- Workflow: Familiarity with Asana, Trello, Monday, Google Drive, Dropbox, Lark.
Nice to Have
- Experience with vertical-first ads and native social formats. 📐
