About the Role

We're looking for a Project Manager to be the driving force behind our renovation projects — the person clients trust to keep them informed, and the person who makes sure every project lands on schedule. You'll own the client relationship from proposal through handover, coordinate contractors and vendors on site, and keep timelines on track. You'll also direct a team of junior designers on the design side — briefing them, reviewing their work, and making sure the design intent holds up through execution — but the day-to-day drafting and 3D visualization is theirs to produce, not yours.

We work across both residential and commercial renovation projects, from condo and landed home renovations to retail fit-outs.

What You'll Do

Client Management

- Be the main point of contact for clients from proposal through project handover

- Manage expectations on budget, scope, and timeline, and handle issues before they become escalations

- Present quotations and proposals to prospective clients, and support closing new business

Project Coordination & Scheduling

- Build and own the master project timeline across all trades; catch slippage early and course-correct

- Coordinate and supervise contractors and vendors on site, including sequencing of works across trades

- Prepare and track scope of works and bills of quantities (BQ); manage variation orders

- Ensure every project is delivered on schedule and within budget

Design Oversight

- Brief junior designers on client requirements, budget, and site constraints

- Review concepts, drawings, and material/finish selections produced by the design team before they go to clients

- Make sure the approved design intent is carried through correctly on site

Job Requirements

What We're Looking For

- 2+ years of experience managing renovation or fit-out projects end-to-end, with a track record of hitting timelines and budgets

- Strong client-facing communication — comfortable presenting, negotiating, and managing expectations under pressure

- Hands-on site experience coordinating multiple trades and contractors simultaneously

- Experience briefing or directing junior designers or a small team (or clear readiness to do so)

- Working knowledge of BQ preparation, cost tracking, and variation order management

- Confident communication with clients in English and Malay

Nice to Have

- Background in interior design or architecture (helps when reviewing design work, even if you're not producing it yourself)

- Familiarity with AutoCAD/SketchUp — enough to review drawings, not necessarily to draft them

- Experience with lump-sum or package-based renovation pricing

- Familiarity with project tracking tools (spreadsheets, Trello, Notion, or similar)

- Own transport (site visits required)
