Job Description

Toby Interior Furnishing Sdn Bhd is a growing Interior Design & Build company specializing in residential, commercial, and retail projects. We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to help manage project costing, quotations, purchasing, and project profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Costing & Quotation
- Prepare quotations and project cost estimates.
- Take off quantities from drawings and site measurements.
- Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
- Assist in tender and project submissions.

Purchasing & Procurement
- Issue Purchase Orders (PO).
- Source materials and subcontractors.
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers and vendors.
- Track material orders and delivery schedules.

Project Cost Control
- Monitor project budgets and costs.
- Track Variation Orders (VO).
- Verify supplier and subcontractor claims.
- Prepare project cost reports.

Coordination
- Work closely with Designers, Project Managers, and Site Supervisors.
- Attend site visits when required.
- Support project documentation and records. 

Job Requirements

Open To Malaysians only.

- A diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction, Interior Design, or a similar discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience in the Interior Design, Interior fit-out , Renovation, or Construction sectors.
- Proficient in interpreting drawings and comprehending renovation projects.
- Competent in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Capable of working independently and adhering to deadlines.
