Role Overview

• Responsible to conduct on-site testing of inventory and stock inbound/outbound processes in automated warehousing environments, ensuring all activities are carried out accurately, efficiently, and in line with the established test plan.
• Standard office hours, with the need to work extended hours (overtime) when required especially during escalations.
• Reports to the Logistics System Test Supervisor.

Test Plan & Operations Execution

• Conduct on-site testing of inventory and stock inbound/outbound operations in automated warehousing environments, following the provided test plan with accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism.
• Perform standardized warehouse operations such as scanning, put-away, picking, and outbound processes under the direction of the Logistic System Test Supervisor
• Observe system responses (e.g., PDA prompts, AGV movements, on-screen displays) and verify whether all functionalities operate as expected across both software and hardware systems.
• Identify and escalate any abnormalities, operational or functional issues observed during testing.
• Document all identified issues clearly, accurately, and in the prescribed format; without guessing, concealing, or attempting to resolve issues independently.
• Report documented issues promptly to Logistics System Testing Supervisor.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to clarify and resolve testing results.
• Provide constructive feedback to the Supervisor on test outcomes and process improvements.
             

Job Requirements

MANDATORY:

• Ability to work in either Malay-English or Chinese-English language combinations, with the capability to understand English operational instructions
• Basic knowledge and experience in logistics software or warehouse management systems within the logistics or warehousing industry.
• Fundamental IT skills (e.g., data entry, report documentation, system navigation).
• No application software development or software testing experience required.
• High attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to handle repetitive testing tasks diligently
• Honest and reliable, with the ability to report issues truthfully.
• Physically able to adapt to the warehouse environment (standing work, extensive walking).
• Strong team spirit, with the ability to follow instructions and work cooperatively
• Good communication skills for accurate reporting of issues.
    

GOOD-TO-HAVE:

• Experience working in an automated warehousing or logistics environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with cross-cultural communication, especially with Japanese teams, is an advantage.
