Job Description

Event Executive for KL Citywalk will serve as the primary business corporate sales & enquiries for our clients and our internal team.

• Maintain the existing business relationship while also assist in developing new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media. 
• To conduct market research, seek out new target customers and new sales opportunities to secure new business for the event space (Jenerator). 
• Support the Manager in day-to-day coordination for marketing related assignments including planning, organizing and controlling of all aspects of events activities. 
• Develop suitable and creative A&P strategies and activities to achieve KL Citywalk objectives, positioning and awareness.
• Responsible for brand building, liaising with agencies, production of in-house promotion materials and publications, preparing press releases, organizing promotional activities.
• Responsible for the overall coordination and execution of projects.
• Identifies areas of improvements by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
• Submits weekly reports to the marketing manager and attend weekly team meetings.
• Supports the rest of the team in order to develop visibility of KL Citywalk project.

Job Requirements

• Proven 2 years of experience in events and/ or sales (prior working experience in retail, mall/ shopping mall would be value added advantage) 
• Thorough understanding of Event, Sales and Marketing negotiating techniques. 
• Great interpersonal and communication skill. Independent and Self-motivated with a results-driven approach. 
• Strong administrative skills with ability to multitask and meeting deadlines.
