Job Description

The Application Support Specialist role focuses on supporting and maintaining software applications, assisting with installations, troubleshooting, and providing training to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Support & Maintenance:
• Providing support for POS systems and technical issues.
• Troubleshooting and debugging systems remotely.
• Handling user enquiries and resolving issues via a ticketing system.
• System Installation & Client Onboarding:
• Assisting with the installation of systems for new clients (both onsite and remotely).
• Travelling overseas may be required for project readiness.
• Training & Documentation:
• Conducting onsite/remote training for clients on product features.
• Preparing documentation including software user guides and customisation requests.
• Shift Work & Ad Hoc Tasks:
• Taking up standby shifts as per the duty roster for user support, including weekends & public holidays.
• Completing any ad hoc tasks assigned by management.

Job Requirements

•  Education & Experience:
• A minimum of a diploma in IT or a related field.
• At least 1 year of working experience in a similar role.
• Technical Skills:
• Good command of SQL and networking tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug systems effectively.
• Communication Skills:
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Multitasking & Prioritization:
• Ability to multitask, learn quickly, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
