Role Purpose

Bridge business strategy, processes and technology by designing practical, cloud-enabled solutions that address customer needs and deliver measurable business outcomes across multiple industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the technical solutioning lifecycle from discovery, qualification and solution design through proposal, estimation, SOW and delivery handover.
• Define solution scope, assumptions, dependencies, effort estimates, implementation approach and key delivery risks.
• Perform solution-readiness and architecture reviews prior to proposal submission and delivery handover.
• Support solution sizing, licensing, cloud consumption and effort estimation to ensure technical and commercial viability.
• Maintain awareness of emerging technologies including AI/GenAI, data platforms, automation and cloud-native services
• Engage customers to understand their business objectives, operating models, processes and technology needs.
• Assess existing processes, identify pain points and recommend improvements.
• Design target business processes, capabilities and solution blueprints.
• Review Business Requirements (BRs) and translate them into functional and technical solutions.
• Develop, review and maintain Technical Requirements Specifications (TRS).
• Map business processes to applications, data, integrations and appropriate cloud services.
• Facilitate discovery, process-mapping and solution-design workshops.
• Produce business, application, integration and high-level technology architectures.
• Evaluate solution options based on business value, feasibility, risk, cost and implementation complexity.
• Develop technical proposals, tender responses, scopes of work and customer presentations.
• Define functional and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with sales, delivery, application, data, integration, cloud and cybersecurity teams.
• Provide architecture guidance from presales through implementation and operational handover.
• Ensure delivered solutions remain aligned with approved business and technical requirements.
• Develop reusable industry processes, reference architectures, templates and solution accelerators.

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
• Between 3 and 5 years of relevant experience in business architecture, solution architecture, business analysis, technology consulting or enterprise solution delivery.
• Experience across at least two industry sectors, preferably including Financial Services or Utilities.
• Strong understanding of business processes and technology-enabled transformation.
• Customer-facing experience in consulting, system integration or enterprise solution delivery.
• Experience conducting requirements, process-mapping and solution-design workshops.
• Experience reviewing business requirements and preparing technical specifications.

Exposure to cloud-based solutions is required, although deep cloud infrastructure experience is not mandatory.

Industry Experience

Candidates must demonstrate experience across at least two industry sectors. Experience in one or both of the following is strongly preferred:

• Financial Services, and Utilities
• Other industries 

Experience in government, transportation, infrastructure, telecommunications, retail, manufacturing or logistics is also relevant.

• AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud or Oracle Cloud
• SaaS, PaaS and cloud-native services
• Cloud migration and application-modernisation approaches
• Cloud security, identity and data-protection principles
• Availability, backup and disaster-recovery concepts
• Cloud consumption, licensing and cost considerations

The role does not require hands-on ownership of cloud infrastructure, network engineering or platform operations.

Preferred Certifications

Candidates should preferably hold at least one or two certifications from the following disciplines. Certifications are advantageous but not mandatory:

• Business analysis or business-process management
• AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud or Oracle Cloud
• Application, integration or data architecture
• ITIL or service management
• TOGAF or another architecture framework
