Job Description

Purpose of the Role/Role Overview:

The COO will plan, implement, manage, and execute comprehensive integrated facility management and security operations to ensure the protection of assets, safety of personnel, and efficient facility services delivery. This leadership role directs the coordination of security protocols alongside facility management functions, driving operational excellence and strategic growth in a dynamic environment.

General /Role Overview:

  • Plan and develop security and facility management strategies aligned with corporate objectives and industry best practices.
  • Implement and oversee day-to-day operations of security services, including access control, surveillance emergency response, and incident management.
  • Manage and execute integrated facility management operations such as maintenance, cleaning and asset management.
  • Lead, coach, and inspire multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality security and facility services.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and environmental standards within security and facility operations.
  • Manage budgeting, resource planning, and financial oversight to optimize operational efficiency and costeffectiveness.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on risk management, crisis preparedness, and business continuity planning.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies to guarantee service standards and contractual obligations are met.
  • Utilize technology and data analytics to monitor performance, identify operational risks, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Prepare detailed operational reports and present findings and recommendations to the board and stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • Facility management and security operations experience of 10-15 years experience.
  • Extensive leadership experience in security and facility management within a comparable industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, manage, and execute complex security and facility management operations.
  • Strong knowledge of security systems, facility management technologies, regulatory compliance, and industry standards.
  • Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Facility Management, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Flexibility to work during weekends & holidays.
