• Responsible for monthly Product PL reporting and assisting and supporting in preparing analysis for major expenses, management accounts, and yearly budget preparation
• To assist in the preparation of monthly management reports for Segmental Reporting, e.g product PL and expenses breakdown
• Prepare inter-company reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and monthly schedule (eg: fixed assets listing, prepayment, accruals listing & etc)
• Ensure Invoice/ Debit/Credit Note is issued in a timely manner
• Update relevant invoices / CN / DN onto the accounting system
• Reconcile vendor statements of account and Inter-company account
• Process journals for month end
• Ensure timeliness and accuracy of AP/AR month end closing activities
• Assist in the company budgeting and forecasting process
• Performing variance analysis on performance as well as cost analysis
• Ensure all accounting procedures and documentations, i.e. Requisition Form, Purchase Order, Invoices, etc. are in proper order, completed and approved by the respective personnel before issuing payments
• Liaise with external auditors on various accounting issues raised by external auditors on the project
• To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by the superior
• Assist superior(s) in the preparation of tax matters of the companies as and when assigned and taking relevant initiatives in relation to this work including the timely and accurate filings

Job Requirements

• Possess Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent. Professional certifications or licenses (e.g. CPA or similar) is a plus.
• At least 2 - 4 years of relevant experience within finance roles is essential. Experience in public listed companies will be an advantage.
• Experience or exposure to full set accounting is preferred
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial workflows
• Proficiency using ERP systems and Excel will be an advantage
• Hands-on approach with meticulous attention to detail ensures high standards are maintained even when handling complex tasks or tight deadlines
• Able to demonstrate the ability to work independently, effectively both as an individual and team
