📌 What is this job all about?

We are looking for an Industrial Designer Intern to support product, space, and system design initiatives at Trust Health Asia. You will help design and develop physical products, clinic tools, medical accessories, packaging, and environment-related concepts that improve healthcare experiences. This role is ideal for design students who want real exposure to healthcare product design, usability, and production workflows.

🧩 Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing physical products such as medical accessories, tools, packaging, clinic equipment, and brand merchandise.
• Create concept sketches, mood boards, and basic design explorations.
• Produce 2D drawings and simple 3D models for review and prototyping.
• Support product development from concept to mock-ups or samples.
• Assist in material research, finishes, textures, and color selection.
• Work with the marketing and operations team to align design with brand identity.
• Support sourcing, vendor communication, and sample evaluation when required.
• Document design iterations and maintain design files properly.

Job Requirements

🧠 Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree/diploma in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related fields.
• Basic skills in design software (SketchUp, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar).
• Ability to sketch ideas clearly (hand sketches or digital).
• Strong interest in physical products, materials, and form development.
• Organised, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Able to work collaboratively with marketing and operations teams.

• Experience with prototyping or model-making.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes or materials.
• Graphic design or packaging design experience.
• Understanding of ergonomics or human-centered design.
