📌 What is this job all about?

We are looking for an IoT Engineer Intern to support Trust Health Asia’s technology and innovation initiatives. You will help design, build, test, and deploy IoT-based solutions for clinics, devices, sensors, and smart operational systems. This role is ideal for students who are excited about hardware-software integration, real-world systems, and healthcare technology.

🔌 Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and testing IoT devices and sensor-based systems.
• Work with microcontrollers (e.g. ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi).
• Support firmware development and basic hardware integration.
• Collect, transmit, and process sensor data using APIs or cloud services.
• Assist in setting up dashboards or simple visualisations for IoT data.
• Help test device reliability, power usage, and connectivity.
• Support documentation of system architecture and workflows.
• Collaborate with software and operations teams on system integration.

Job Requirements

🧠 Requirements

• Currently pursuing studies in Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electronics, or related fields.
• Basic knowledge of microcontrollers and sensors.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language (C/C++, Python, or JavaScript).
• Understanding of networking basics (WiFi, Bluetooth, MQTT, HTTP).
• Curious, hands-on, and willing to troubleshoot hardware issues.
• Able to work on-site when needed for testing and deployment.

💡 Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with ESP32, Arduino, or Raspberry Pi projects.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Firebase, etc.).
• Experience with dashboards or data visualisation tools.
• Interest in healthcare, automation, or smart systems.
