Job Summary

You will be working with us at TS Chuan Engineering & Drilling Sdn Bhd. As our Draughtsman (Mechanical & Fabrication Drawings), your main mission is to translate complex engineering concepts into precise, real-world mechanical and fabrication drawings that power water and wastewater treatment systems across Malaysia. We are looking for a detail-oriented, collaborative individual who enjoys seeing their designs go from a digital screen to actual physical machinery, working alongside a supportive team of engineers to deliver reliable and sustainable environmental engineering solutions that make a positive difference in our local communities.

Your Growth & Impact

• Accelerate your technical drawing mastery in SolidWorks and AutoCAD by working on diverse, large-scale industrial water and wastewater equipment fabrication projects.
• Collaborate directly with our procurement and fabrication teams, giving you rare hands-on exposure to how your drawings translate into physical mechanical components.

Responsibilities

Mechanical Design & Technical Drafting

• Produce and revise detailed mechanical and fabrication technical drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks to help us execute flawless equipment builds.
• Generate highly accurate assembly and isometric drawings based on specific engineering calculations, allowing our fabrication team to construct systems with absolute precision.
• Create comprehensive conceptual layouts and detail designs from engineer sketches so that we can collectively pitch and deliver state-of-the-art solid-liquid separation and aeration solutions.

Documentation & Operational Support

• Maintain meticulous drawing revision control and structured technical documentation to ensure our engineering repository remains reliable and up to date.
• Coordinate closely with the Purchasing department by verifying component counts and drawings, allowing us to source materials accurately and eliminate manufacturing delays.
• Provide detail-oriented support to the engineering team on technical drawing submissions and project detailing so that we can smoothly obtain approvals from regulatory bodies.

Job Requirements

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Malaysian citizen.
• Certificate or Diploma in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 1 year of working experience in M&E, mechanical, or fabrication drawings.
• Prior background or exposure in Water and Sewage, Industrial Air, or with organizations like IWK, SPAN, or Air Selangor is a strong advantage.
• Immediate availability to join our Bandar Teknologi Kajang or Semenyih locations is highly valued, though not mandatory.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• High proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD (AutoCAD 2000 or equivalent software) for drafting detailed 2D and 3D models.
• Strong technical capability in producing complex assembly and isometric drawings.
• Good understanding of engineering materials, fabrication standards, and mechanical systems.
