Job Description

  • Oversee the entire employee life cycle, encompassing recruitment, retention, onboarding, performance evaluation, rewards and recognition, and offboarding.
  • Collaborate with line managers on workforce planning, talent sourcing, and retention strategies to meet organizational objectives and business requirements.
  • Act as an HR Business Partner, offering guidance, services, and solutions to line managers regarding all employee-related issues.
  • Develop HR policies and processes that comply with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
  • Manage and execute the entire payroll process. 
  • Manage HR dashboards to monitor, analyze, and report on HR KPIs while offering insights and recommendations for improvements.
  • Coordinate with the Human Resources Department at headquarters to regularly assess HR strategies and practices to maintain our competitiveness in attracting and retaining talent.
  • Function as Office Manager, responsible for overseeing office administration, supply management, and facilities management.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Behavioral Sciences
  • Five years of HR experience in a large organization, preferably in the retail sector
  • Knowledgeable about employment laws and regulations in Malaysia and other Asian nations
  • Proficient in English and Cantonese
  • Excellent understanding of business principles
  • Highly driven and accountable
  • Adaptable and resilient in the face of change
  • Confident in questioning established practices
