Job Description

Key Responsibility

1. Visual Merchandising Strategy & Brand Governance

  • Define and own the overall visual merchandising strategy, ensuring strong alignment with global brand vision, positioning, and commercial objectives.
  • Translate brand direction into clear, scalable VM frameworks adaptable across multiple store formats, sizes, and market segments.
  • Lead long-term VM planning, including seasonal roadmaps, campaign calendars, and product launch strategies.
  • Oversee store layout principles to optimize customer journey, product storytelling, and commercial performance.

2. Commercial Performance & Business Impact

  • Drive sales growth and conversion improvement through strategic visual presentation and space optimization.
  • Partner with Retail, Sales, and Commercial teams to assess store performance and unlock growth opportunities through VM interventions.
  • Utilize performance data and customer insights to guide layout decisions, space productivity, and display effectiveness.
  • Identify systemic VM gaps and underperforming categories, defining corrective actions at both store and regional levels.

3. Governance, Compliance & Standardization

  • Establish and enforce VM standards, guidelines, and execution frameworks across all stores.
  • Lead regular store reviews and audits to ensure consistent brand execution and operational excellence.
  • Provide structured governance through clear feedback loops, corrective action plans, and execution follow-ups.
  • Ensure all VM executions comply with safety, operational, and regulatory requirements.

4. Leadership, Capability Building & Culture

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing visual merchandising team across regions.
  • Set clear performance expectations, capability frameworks, and development pathways for VM talents.
  • Champion continuous learning through training programs, coaching, and exposure to industry best practices.
  • Foster a growth-driven, ownership-led culture focused on excellence, accountability, and innovation.

5. Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Act as a key strategic partner to Marketing, Retail Operations, Merchandising, Supply Chain, and Production teams.
  • Ensure seamless integration between campaign strategy, product availability, and in-store execution.
  • Align VM priorities with sales targets, customer experience objectives, and operational capabilities.
  • Lead proactive, structured communication across stakeholders including DC/Warehouse and store leadership teams.

6. Innovation, Future-Readiness & Sustainability

  • Drive innovation in visual merchandising through new concepts, experiential retail, and emerging technologies.
  • Monitor global and regional VM trends, consumer behavior shifts, and competitor strategies to keep the brand future-ready.
  • Evaluate and pilot digital and interactive VM solutions to enhance engagement and differentiation.
  • Embed sustainability principles into long-term VM planning, materials selection, and execution practices.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in visual merchandising or retail operations.
  • Strong knowledge of VM principles, store layout, and customer journey design.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and customer insights to drive performance.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management across departments.
  • Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple projects.
  • Passion for brand storytelling, customer experience, and sustainability.
