As an Automotive Technician you will be a builder, gaining the skills to complete routine services and step-by-step repairs while improving workshop flow. You will learn to run diagnostics, manage simple repairs, and grow into taking full ownership of jobs alongside experienced technicians.

Job Requirements

Responsibilities

Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

• Perform routine services such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tyre rotations with care and accuracy.
• Inspect brakes, suspension, steering, and exhaust systems to identify wear and recommended fixes.
• Carry out basic mechanical repairs under supervision, following service manuals and safety procedures.
• Prepare vehicles for customer handover with clear notes on work completed and follow-up suggestions.

Diagnostics & Quality

• Use OBD-II scanners and basic diagnostic tools to read fault codes and support troubleshooting.
• Run systematic checks to reproduce customer complaints and document findings clearly.
• Test repaired systems to confirm faults are resolved and work meets quality standards.
• Keep accurate job cards and parts records to support invoicing and inventory.

Workshop Operations

• Assist with maintaining a clean, safe workshop and proper storage of tools and consumables.
• Support parts ordering and basic stock checks to keep common items available for jobs.
• Communicate with service advisors and teammates to coordinate job flow and reduce turnaround time.
• Follow company safety rules and vehicle handling procedures at all times.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Certificate or diploma in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent vocational training.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with vocational workshop experience are welcome.
• Available to work standard workshop hours and occasional weekends or shift rotations as needed.
• Valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory.

Hard Skills & Knowledge

• Basic understanding of engine, transmission, brake, and suspension systems.
• Familiarity with OBD-II diagnostic tools and ability to interpret basic fault codes.
• Comfort using hand tools, power tools, torque settings, and workshop equipment safely.
• Knowledge of workshop documentation, job cards, and parts identification.
