Job Description

Technical Translator (Japanese Speaking)

Working Location:

Hybrid working (The Gardens South Tower and work from home)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understand and translate (from Japanese to English, and vice versa) basic requirements provided by the Japan office, and explain to members in the Malaysia office.
  • Able to support large scale projects in addition to daily translation tasks, ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Provide support and documentation in Japanese and English.
  • Conduct quality checks together with senior engineers and project managers.
  • Attend daily meetings, if necessary.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in both English and Japanese (JLPT 2 and above is preferred)
  • Preferably a person who has worked or has experience as an Interpreter / Translator.
  • Professional Translation or freelance translation in the IT industry.
  • Strong understanding of software/system development concepts is desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Fresh graduates are welcomed to apply.
  • A team player and being supportive.
