Job Description
Emerging advanced technology manufacturer serving the semiconductor industry, headquartered in Hong Kong with manufacturing and R&D centers in Dongguan, China and global sales and distribution centers. Hiring a Sales Engineer based in Northern Malaysia (Penang, Ipoh, Kulim) to drive sales and expand business for semiconductor packaging materials.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with semiconductor and electronics customers in Northern Malaysia.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand sales of semiconductor packaging materials.
- Promote products such as JEDEC trays, carrier tape, cover tape, and related packaging solutions.
- Work closely with customers to understand their requirements and provide solutions.
- Coordinate with internal teams on quotations, samples, delivery schedules, and customer support.
- Monitor market trends and customer feedback.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Degree holder with minimum 2–3 years working experience in semiconductor, electronics, EMS, or related industry.
- Experience in semiconductor packaging materials and technical knowledge is an advantage.
- Good communication, negotiation, and customer management skills.
- Able to work independently and travel within Northern Malaysia.
- Candidates based in Penang, Ipoh, or nearby areas are preferred.
- Possess own transport.
