Responsibilities

• Design and launch innovative and complex analytic models, applying them to all commercial SaaS products and internal consumption. Lead the development of big data capabilities and utilisation, coordinating cross-functional analytic initiatives.
• Oversee data architecture, DataOps, and automating MLOps. Manage the data analytics, data warehousing, and data engineering teams to create big data applications, design optimal data architecture, and experiment with new machine learning techniques.
• Mentor key data science positions, guiding them in the execution of their duties. Build the business's data science talent through role definition, recruitment, and development of a team of data scientists to advance the business agenda.
• Consistently identify and monitor key business risks, realising the data needs of the business. Drive education and evangelisation of data sciences throughout the organisation by communicating the vision and use cases of advanced analytics. Explore and implement large language models (LLM) for commercialisation and productization of data & AI.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Computer Science, Economics, or any other related quantitative field. Equivalent working experience is also acceptable for the position.
• Minimum 10 years working experience in Data related fields.
• Proven and successful track record of leading high-performing data analyst teams. Demonstrated success in performing advanced quantitative analyses and statistical modelling that positively impact business performance, with specific experience in generative AI applications.
• Technologically adept with a strong understanding of database and cloud technologies. Knowledge of frameworks and tools specific to generative AI, such as GPT, GANs, and other advanced models.
