Job Description

 

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Identify new business opportunities, potential clients, and market segments to support company growth
  • Prepare and present proposals, company profiles, and business presentations.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend monitoring.
  • Follow up on leads, enquiries, and potential projects to secure new business.
  • Coordinate meetings, discussions, and negotiations with clients and partners.
  • Support tender submissions, proposal documentation, and business-related paperwork.
  • Assist in planning and implementing BD strategies to achieve company targets.
  • Attend networking events, exhibitions, and conferences to promote the company.
  • Update and maintain BD records, tracking sheets, and client databases.
  • Work closely with internal departments to support project execution and client needs.
  • Provide regular BD progress reports and updates to Management.
  • Represent the company professionally in all business-related engagements.

Job Requirements

 

  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or relevant field.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in Business Development or related roles (construction or engineering industry is an advantage).
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to prepare proposals, presentations, and professional documents.
  • Good understanding of tender processes, project documents, and client engagement requirements.
  • Able to conduct research and analyse market or industry information.
  • Proactive, result-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong networking skills and confidence in dealing with external stakeholders.
  • Good command of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel for meetings, site visits, and BD activities.
  • High level of professionalism, responsibility, and confidentiality.
