Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Developer to join our agile and expanding engineering team, where your contributions will have a significant impact on our product and culture. You will play a critical role in shaping our technical direction, working closely with the frontend team to build and maintain user-facing web applications. As a mentor, you will be a force multiplier, elevating the skills and careers of our junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain highly interactive and SEO-friendly web applications using React, Next.js, and TypeScript
• Collaborate with the product team and UI/UX designers using Figma & Design System to create seamless and intuitive user experiences from concept to launch
• Work closely with the backend team to optimize data retrieval for a fast, responsive user experience
• Conduct thorough PR reviews and uphold code quality standards and best practices
• Mentor and upskill junior engineers, providing code reviews, technical guidance, and support
• Contribute to our engineering culture by staying up to date with the latest frontend technologies, frameworks, and industry trends
• Able to work independently in a hybrid work environment (2 days/week work from home)

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of professional experience working with React.js
• Proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript
• Experience with modern frontend rendering strategies (e.g. SSR, SSG, ISR)
• Expertise in writing semantic HTML and modern CSS
• Well-versed in the Node.js ecosystem
• Excellent knowledge of web best practices - SEO, Core Web Vitals, web security
• Experience in integrating secure user authentication flows (JWT, OAuth 2.0)
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Demonstrated mentoring or leadership experience

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Next.js 13+ or similar modern web framework (e.g. Nuxt.js, Remix/React Router v7)
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest, React Testing Library)
• Knowledge of React state management libraries (Zustand, TanStack Query, and Redux)
• Experience working with design systems and building custom UI libraries (Figma, Storybook)
• Familiarity with build tools such as Vite or Webpack
• Knowledge of monorepos (npm/yarn workspaces)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools like Docker
• Familiarity with AI tools for development like GitHub Copilot
