About the Department

The Wholesale Bank function operates a dynamic business model that provides financial services and solutions to help our clients achieve their strategic business objectives. Our mission is to become the premier-provider of banking services and solutions for Asia-based commercial banking companies (small medium enterprises), large corporations, financial institutions as well as multinational corporations. Our coverage teams work in full alignment with specialised teams across Transaction Banking, Investment Banking, Global Markets and Group Retail to deliver seamless solutions to our clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of Enterprise Banking clienteles (loan size up to MYR60mil) for their domestic banking needs as well as target regional opportunities with the clienteles’ regional subsidiaries / diversifications
  • Broaden the corporate customer base with the team
  • Provide total banking solutions to both existing / new clienteles
  • Market, originate and complete deals with product partners, e.g. Global Markets,
  • Investment Banking, Transaction Banking, etc. closely
  • Deliver both in terms of speed and quality for all KPIs assigned

Job Requirements

  • A recognised Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking or Business-Related Studies
  • Minimum 6 years in credit and / or Business Development
  • Independent, reliable and meticulous in work approach
  • Flexible, as significant extended hours may be required during specific negotiations and transactions
  • Strong analytical and effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Committed, confident, determined, self-motivated and a team player
