Job Description

Universal Peak (UP) is expanding our commercial team, and we’re looking for a dedicated, ambitious, and energetic Sales Engineer to drive growth across the Power, Utilities, and Clean Energy sectors. As a Sales Engineer, you will bridge your technical expertise with the operational needs of our clients. You’ll play a key role in shaping solution proposals, strengthening customer relationships, and driving strategic sales initiatives across UP’s portfolio of power, utilities, and energy-related products and services.

This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy technical problem-solving, commercial strategy, and hands-on engagement with clients. Product training will be provided, and you’ll be supported by a collaborative team committed to excellence. Job Requirements

  1. Interact with clients to grasp technical needs and recommend appropriate engineering solutions.
  2. Establish and nurture robust relationships with key clients, consultants, and industry stakeholders.
  3. Create and implement strategic sales initiatives to enhance UP’s market footprint.
  4. Perform site visits, evaluations, and product demonstrations as necessary.
  5. Keep track of market trends, competitor activities, and new technologies.
  6. Oversee a sales pipeline and meet revenue and growth objectives.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications :

  1. Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Energy, or related fields)
  2. Experience in technical sales, engineering solutions, utilities, or industrial sectors is an advantage.
  3. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to translate engineering concepts into customer-friendly language
  4. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  5. Proactive, self-driven, and comfortable managing multiple opportunities.
