Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting

• The preparation and timely delivery of accurate financial statements and reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.

Risk Management

• Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
• Maintain a strong internal control environment to safeguard company assets.

Treasury and Cash Management

• Manage cash flow and liquidity to support daily operations and capital investments for the group of companies.

Tax and Compliance

• Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
• Work with external auditors and tax authorities to facilitate audits and assessments.
• Develop, implement and maintain sound financial accounting system, document standard operating procedures, corporate governance and internal controls (preventive and detective).
• Corporate Tax Transfer Pricing Documentation in compliance with local legislations

Team Leadership

• Build and manage a high-performing finance and accounting team.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, professional development, and teamwork.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Accounts manager with at least 3 years of experience.
• Willing to travel
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing principles and reporting standards.
• Working experience in start-up business, wholesales, retail, trading and lead a team more than 10 staff is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Able to read, write and speak in Mandarin, English and Malay to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
