Job Description
Role Overview
The Operations Intern supports the day-to-day execution of projects, ensuring smooth coordination between internal teams, suppliers, and timelines. This role is hands-on and focuses on getting things done efficiently, accurately, and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Project & Order Execution
- Assist in managing ongoing projects from confirmation to delivery
- Track timelines, deliverables, and ensure deadlines are met
- Follow up with internal teams and suppliers on progress
- Sourcing & Vendor Coordination
- Source products, materials, and suppliers based on project needs
- Request quotations, compare pricing, and support cost optimization
- Communicate clearly with vendors on requirements and timelines
- Costing & Documentation
- Assist in preparing cost sheets and quotations
- Ensure all project details (specs, quantities, pricing) are accurate
- Maintain organized records of suppliers, pricing, and past projects
- Quality & Detail Control
- Check product specifications, artwork, and samples before production
- Flag inconsistencies or potential issues early
- Ensure final output matches client requirements
- General Operations Support
- Support ad-hoc operational tasks as needed
- Help improve internal processes and workflows over time
