Key Responsibilities

Clinical Support

• Assist dentists during clinical procedures (e.g., examinations, restorations, extractions, scaling & polishing).
   
• Perform basic clinical tasks under supervision, such as charting, radiographs, impressions, and sterilisation.
   
• Prepare dental instruments, materials, and treatment rooms before procedures.
   
• Ensure compliance with infection control, sterilisation, and safety protocols.
   

Patient Care

• Greet, prepare, and reassure patients before treatment.
   
• Conduct preliminary assessments where appropriate under supervision.
   
• Provide post-treatment instructions and patient education on oral hygiene.
   

Administrative Duties

• Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment notes.
   
• Assist with appointment scheduling and patient flow coordination.
   
• Support inventory management (e.g., stock checks, ordering supplies).
   

Learning & Professional Development

• Participate in clinical rotations, case discussions, and training sessions.
   
• Observe and learn from senior dentists, specialists, and support staff.
   
• Develop competency in diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient communication.
