Interior Designer
Company: Urban Room Sdn Bhd
Location: Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya
About Us
Urban Room Sdn Bhd focuses on designing and managing fully furnished living spaces within investment properties, primarily high-rise residential developments (e.g. condominiums). We emphasize practical layouts, cost efficiency, and modern design to enhance rental value and overall asset performance.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop creative, functional, and cost-effective interior design concepts for residential investment units
- Prepare detailed drawings and layouts using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Coohom
- Produce 2D drawings, 3D renderings, and presentation materials
- Coordinate closely with clients on design preferences, selections, and customization requirements
- Work with internal teams and contractors to ensure smooth execution of renovation works
- Source materials, furniture, and fittings within project budgets
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure design quality and specifications are met
- Ensure all designs are practical, durable, and suitable for rental purposes
Nice to Have
- Experience in residential or high-rise (condominium) projects
- Knowledge in renovation processes and cost estimation
- Experience dealing with property investors or similar clientele

- Diploma / Degree in Interior Design or related field
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Coohom (must-have)

- Good communication skills to liaise with clients and internal teams
- Able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
