Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Motion Designer coordinates and manages all aspects of a video production process for the Group, from start to finish. He / she will also be responsible to create and develop multimedia (audio/video) and video animation content for distribution across traditional, digital, and social platforms.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Record and edit high quality video and sound projects, including selecting program format for final output, capturing/importing media, organizing raw media, editing footage and sound files, creating and inserting static and motion graphics, titling, adding music/voiceover/sound effects, media management and archiving project media.
• Create videos and video animations for both traditional, digital and social platforms.
• Responsible for script, storyboard, allocate resources and set timelines.
• Interact with partners and internal stakeholders to help them tell their stories on camera.
• Plan video shoots: scout, select and reserve shoot locations. Develop production schedules, including scope and budgets (work with Creative Service Traffic Manager to coordinate).
• Select, recommend, direct and coach internal crew and talents.
• Manage video library and assets.
• Evaluate video analytics from social media and other sources.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Production, TV & Film, Communications, Advertising/Marketing, or similar field

Professional Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience within an in-house, commercial studio or broadcast environment.

Personal Attributes: 

• Strong knowledge of digital formats
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects) required, the ability to develop and implement creative treatments, schedules and budgets of various scopes and sizes
• Fashion/Beauty experience is a plus
• Self-starter who follows through on tight deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously, uncompromising attention to detail, strong organizational and timemanagement skills
• Must have a high level of flexibility and adaptability with strong interpersonal skills and a team player attitude

Languages: Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
