Job Description
At Verdant Solar, we see interns as part of our core team! You are empowered to initiate projects and experiment with your wildest ideas with one end goal: speed up our operational processes. Embark on a fulfilling internship journey with us and contribute to the dynamic field of solar design engineering.
We are currently looking for go-getters to join our team to help us with:
- Growth & Retention Initiatives: Support the administration, rollout, and execution of employee retention and growth initiatives, including tracking participation, managing communications, and ensuring timely follow-through on development plans and recognition programs.
- HR Systems & Government Agencies: Accurately input, maintain, and update employee data across HR systems (e.g. Monday Directory, BRIOHR) and relevant trackers. Assist with registrations and communications involving Malaysian government agencies.
- Compensation & Benefits: Support the research and implementation of compensation and benefits plans by preparing documents, tracking changes, and assisting with communication to employees.
- Payroll Support: Prepare and verify monthly payroll data to ensure accuracy, compliance with approved amounts, and timely submission.
- Performance Management (PFM), Monthly One2One & Learning & Development: Manage the end-to-end administrative support of Performance Management (PFM), Monthly One2One, and Learning & Development (L&D) sessions, including scheduling, logistics, and communication with participants and trainers.
- Workplace & Culture Activities: Assist with workplace-related matters as assigned, ensuring accuracy and accountability. Support employee engagement initiatives that strengthen Verdant’s culture and foster strong connections among Verdiants.
Job Requirements
You’ll Thrive Here If You Are:
- Available for a 3–6 month internship placement.
- Currently pursuing a Degree/Diploma in Human Resources, Business Management, Psychology, or related fields.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, willing to learn, and clear on the goals of assigned tasks.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an added advantage).
- Comfortable using digital tools and HR systems (e.g., Monday Directory, BRIOHR) for tracking and administration.
