Your role as a Project Manager:  

The Project Manager is responsible for managing the project timeline for our background check software, including continuous improvement for the software. You'll work cross-functionally to identify user needs, shape solutions, and deliver features that create measurable impact. You play a vital role in maintaining the strict timeline and quality of the product, making sure that all parties and stakeholders are aligned and the product can be launched by the due date. You will be assisted by the engineering and data team.

What you will do:  

• Product Discovery & Planning  
• Collaborate with stakeholders (CX, SD, Engineering, Ops) to define clear product problems and opportunities  
• Conduct research, analyze data, and synthesize feedback to inform product direction  
• Assist in shaping the product roadmap and prioritizing features based on impact  
• Execution & Delivery  
• Translate product ideas into user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria  
• Coordinate with Design and Engineering teams to bring features from idea to deployment  
• Communication & Alignment  
• Ensure alignment on goals and priorities across cross-functional teams  
• Share updates with internal stakeholders on progress, timelines, and decisions  
• Balance competing needs, technical constraints, and user value  
• Product Optimization  
• Define and track key product metrics (e.g., engagement, adoption, session usage)  
• Identify opportunities for improvement through data and user feedback  
• Support testing and validation (A/B tests, prototypes, feedback loops)

Job Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:  

• Minimum 8 years experience in a Project Manager role in tech, SaaS, or a related industry.  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills with a bias for execution  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.  
• Comfortable working with design and engineering teams in an agile environment  
• Familiar with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and analytics dashboards (e.g., Superset)  
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.  
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.  
• Possess technical background or understanding of software development.
