Job Description

What You Need to Do:

  • Assist in daily accounting operations, including data entry and filing.
  • To handle accounts receivables and account payables.
  • Ensuring in timely closing of monthly accounts.
  • Issue invoice, purchase order, quotation and cheque payment.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents and company secretary on audit, tax and secretarial matters.
  • Ensure accounting records & systems are in compliance with company policies, approved accounting standards and statutory requirements.
  • Continuously monitor company’s expenditure against budget and cash flow to ensure company’s operation are conducted cost effectively.
  • Support ad-hoc finance function and activities.

Job Requirements

What You Need to Bring to Us:

  • Minimum Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.      
  • At least 1 year of related experience will be an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SQL Accounting system equivalent
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with Mandarin as a plus for communicating with Mandarin-speaking clients.
