Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a strong back-end developer who welcomes both engineering and maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop & maintain software applications under the guidance of Senior Engineers (i.e. writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code)
- Write unit & integration tests to ensure the quality & stability of the codebase
- Participate in code reviews to learn from Senior Engineers and ensure code quality
- Assist in design & implementation of new features and functionality
- Troubleshoot & debug software issues
- Work with the QA team to identify and resolve bugs
- Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends
- Collaborate effectively with Engineering team members & other teams
- Contribute to Engineering team's knowledge base & documentation
Job Requirements
Who we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 1 year experience in software development
- Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply
- Familiarity with Javascript / TypeScript / NodeJS
- Basic understanding of software development methodologies (e.g. Agile)
- Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Eagerness to:
- Learn & contribute to a team
- Learn & grow as a software engineer
- Plus points:
- Experience working with cloud hosting (GCP/AWS)
- Highly interested in Fintech industry
