Job Description

The Role

We are looking for a candidate who will support the strategic direction of product (Versa App) positioning and development and work closely with the Marketing, Engineering and other stakeholder(s).

The Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for businesses to request or share ideas for product capabilities & features
  • Engage with business stakeholders to collaborate and co-create product capabilities & features
  • Evaluate business value of new capabilities in collaboration with business & strategy team to recommend prioritization
  • Define and document comprehensive business requirements using best practices e.g., UML
  • Conduct:
  1. End-to-end analysis of user journey, back-end processes, and operational requirements for product capabilities to identify and document improvement/enhancements
  2. Periodic analysis of capabilities & feature success post-launch to recommend improvements and increase success
  3. Continuous market research to understand the competitor landscape, market needs, and customer sentiment
  • Lead the implementation and customer launch of product roadmap, working closely with Engineering team
  • Define clear metrics of success measurement for all new product capabilities for the purpose of tracking performance
  • Continuously refine product offering & capabilities roadmap based on research findings to ensure effort invested in product development yields highest adoption and profitability
  • Lead operational aspects of product, including L3 support, executing processes, reporting, configuring product launches, and supporting any ad hoc requests
  • Define test scenarios, test cases, and conduct comprehensive testing of new capabilities & features to be rolled out
  • Collaborate closely with Compliance & Legal to ensure all product capabilities & features are 100% in compliance with regulatory & legal requirements
  • Own and drive release plan end-to-end from initiation, tracking all the way to customer launch.

Job Requirements

  • Academic qualification in the field of business analysis, information technology, computer science, data & analytics, or related fields
  • Experienced in working in high paced, dynamic environment and able to adapt swiftly to shifts in priorities and directions
  • Experienced in:
  1. User journey design & functional design of mobile application and back office tools
  2. Working closely with Engineering team in delivering product requirements
  3. Translating raw business requirements into modular & configurable functional design
  4. Slicing business requirements into epics, user stories, and conducting discovery with Engineering team to size the effort, line up and prioritize development
  5. Agile/Scaled Agile Framework methodology & tools
  6. Design Thinking methodology and empathic design philosophy
  • Strong communication & articulation skills to be able to effectively communicate product capabilities & features without gap to Engineering team
  • Strong skills in data query & analysis
  • Advantageous:
  1. Experience in Google BigQuery 
  2. Experience & knowledge in retail financial services, especially digital retail wealth industry
